The Scent of Autumn

I love the scents of nature as I trek down the path before me. The earthy fragrance of autumn along with the crunch of fallen leaves and the vivid yellows, oranges, and reds along the path make fall one of my favorite seasons. When we lived overseas, fall was one of the seasons I missed the most.

As the weather grows colder and we tend to stay indoors more I love to fill my home with the aroma of scented candles burning. This week on a whim I bought a new candle.

In the past when I have bought the Walmart Main Stays candles they tended to just smell waxy when burned and not smell the way the did when unlit.

I was happily pleased to find that this one actually made the house smell good and the kids commented all day on how much they loved the aroma of the newest candle.

The candles that smell like food make me hungry.

I was happy to find a “food” scent that didn’t make me hungry.

It is called Mulled Cider.
