I am so very thankful for God’s grace-gifts that fill my life …
623. golden edged, dark clouds against sinking sun
624. Four year old holding oreos to eyes, giggling
625. BLT with avacado on whole wheat, delivered by God
626. early morning sun glistening on the Chesapeake
627. a Russian heart with a passion for Christ and a burden for souls
628. 1 Timothy 1:12
“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me,
for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;”
629. That God’s grace, mercy, and love for me …
630. allows me to share my life with him …

631. so many expressing their love, gratitude, and support of him …
632. … accompanied by hand shakes, hugs, and eyes brimming and spilling.
633. God’s constant confirming of our being in the center of His will. What a glorious and blessed place to be.
634. Steam rising from a “cold oven” pound cake delivered, straight from her oven to our kitchen …
635. the smile on her face …
636. and the twinkle in her eyes…
637. as she tells of the 47 foster “sons and daughters” the Lord enabled her to raise …
638. watching as that same love and joy spill over onto my own children…

your list fills me. such beauty woven through it… right down to the format and the way He heaps one gift right on top of the next. i giggled at the oreos, since i have some oreos on my list, too… and the bald eagle? i have him on my mind… cam’s confirmation verse 🙂
hope your day is full of even more beauty, and that you just let His blessings keep spilling all around you!
Oh goodness…love your list!
A friend just snapped a pick of my dd holding oreos to her eyes…
Stopping by from Ann’s
Many blessings!
Your list was moving and so precious! I’m so glad I stopped by tonight! I especially loved the kids singing in the van. It brought back memories of LOTS of singing as a family when I was growing up. And, by the way, I loved the music playing!!!!!
Thank you for your comment. Especially the comment about the music playing. I have been mulling over whether to keep it or ditch it. So many people complain about auto-music on blogs. These songs speak so much to me, especially the ones by Selah, so I think I will keep them. It’s my blog right? 🙂 Thanks for the affirmation.
love 641…listening to them sing praises to Jesus…nothing better than hearing a heart sing to the Lord…blessings…jenna
First, that picture of you guys – what a cute couple – leaning in like that – heart that. And today my favorite from your list was 645. children excitedly looking forward to violin lessons (starting Tuesday!!) (you do of course know what beginning violinists sound like – right?) {smile} It’s always a joy to read anything you write Sharon.
God Bless and keep you and yours
May His face shine upon you…
and all of yours.
Craig- I DO know what beginning violinists sound like… usually. SHOCKINGLY enough: they didn’t sound like that at all!!! They’re taking a “group” violin lesson with some other homeschool kids and there wasn’t a screech in the whole lot of them during the entire lesson. I haven’t yet heard one around the house either. Yay!!
Sharon…I realized today that I hadn’t been in touch in too long…and then wondered if you’d moved your blog–and you had!! so sweet to be here…and I am now remembering to add you to my blogroll which is how I keep the best tabs on my blog friends:-)
love all of these…kindred heart and loving this amazing Global community we are called to and the deep full living it saints and loving to see how beloved your husband is…Amen…all make my heart sing too sister:-)
Hey Abby! It is good to hear from you. I am not sure if the Google Friend connect gadget is still working in my new space. I haven’t picked up a new follower that way since I moved. and before I moved I was picking up about one a day. Not that FOLLOWERS make a difference but if that is the route you add blogs to your reader it may make a difference. Click on subscribe to have it sent to your email or choose your favorite reader.
Thank you for adding me to your blog roll. I am working on adding a button and grab box. I am thinking of putting my sidebar back up. I don’t like all that info in the footer where no one sees it. what do you think?
The oreos on the eyes of a 4 year old…so sweet! That will make you smile for sure.
I have been digging deep this week and basking in the grace of our God.
