Matthew 20:28
“even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto,
but to minister,
and to give his life a ransom for many.”
A ransom is the price paid to release a slave from bondage.
Jesus Christ paid the price, “the ransom,” to release sinners
(that would include everyone)
from their bondage to sin.
I am so thankful to have been set at liberty from the prison of sin.
His grace and mercy is so amazing to me.
My life is blessed beyond measure.
