When I lived in the Philippines I made a blog friend over the internet who was a missionary in another Southeast Asian country. Eventually she and her husband were burdened to leave the mission field to start a non-profit called The Exodus Road.
The Exodus Road is a coalition of organizations and individuals active in ending modern day slavery.
I met my friend in person a few years ago and their non-profit is making strides in rescuing girls from sex-slavery. I have even written and shared about it on my blog before. You can read that post here.
I have been invited to be part of the Exodus Road bloggers team and I am looking forward to taking part and blogging for freedom.
What does that mean for my readers?
It means at least once a month I am going to post about the Exodus Road and its efforts and about sex-slavery and the issues surrounding it.
I hope you all will read along and become a part of this fight beside me. There are many ways to do so. By praying for those on the ground in-country for Exodus Road, you can be part of their success and safety. You can financially help out by donating to Exodus Road and/or sponsoring a search and rescue team.
You can read more about The Exodus Road on their website.
