Creativity Bootcamp- Day 6 "Fluid"

Today’s word for the Creativity Boot Camp is “fluid”.

I thought of water but then thought that was far too obvious a subject.

I like rayon fabric because it is so fluid. I love the way it feels like water against your skin.
My daughter and I recently bought a length of fabric to make into skirts. We picked it because it felt good.

Like water.

fluid.
Yes, that was a captial F, until I realized the lower case f looked much more fluid.
So, I took the fabric outside and faced the challenge of how to make it

look fluid.
This is my favorite:
I like the fact that both of his feet are off the ground.
I took 124 photos in 35 minutes.
Can I just say…
I LOVE DIGITAL!!!
There is no way I would ever have done this with print film.
It was also a great opportunity for the kids
…to get some exercise,
…join me in creating,
…and share my art.

Creativity Bootcamp- Day 5 "Grow"

Today’s prompt in Creativity Boot Camp is “Grow”.

My crop…

I have grown from a girl who never wanted to have children…
to not only wanting children…
but wanting four of them.
The Lord is in the business of changing hearts and minds.
I praise Jesus Christ for the changes and growth He has wrought in my life.

Creativity Bootcamp- Day 4 "Heavy Metal"

Today’s word in the Creativity Boot Camp: “Heavy Metal”.
Ephesians 5:15-17 “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”

*edit: the weight of time marching on continuously, pressing down on us. We must be mindful of it.*

Creativity Bootcamp- Day 2 -" Picnic" …one day late

So our word for Day 2 was ‘picnic’.
“Creativity buzz kills” ended up filling my day and kept me in a knot until bedtime and so I ended up not posting about it. However after reading Madeline’s post on the ‘creativity buzz kill‘ today I decided to fight it off and post something anyway.
I may not have ended up with an ‘artsy’ photo but I did profit from seeking it. I spent my afternoon watching my little one eat a brownie while fending off the dog. Dinner at the playground was time well spent, having fun with my kids and hubby, cutting up and having fun, playing frisbee, basketball, and ‘shark’.
So pursuing that ‘shot’ did give me some good quality time with the kids and their daddy. For that I am thankful.

Now I need to get moving on Day 3…
