Confidence in His Will

It is so overwhelmingly awesome
when God confirms the same thing/message,
from so many different unrelated places,
giving confidence that you are EXACTLY,
where and doing, what God wants.
Knowing you are walking in His perfect will.
Seek Him today.

Happy Saturday!

Off to enjoy the day.
Already baked a cake for company coming tonight.
Did stamp crafts with the kids. Shopping for more craft stuff.
Tip of the day: If you are a teacher or homeschooling mom you can get
a teacher discount at JoAnne Fabrics, 15% all the time!!
Experimented with the collage tool on Picnik.
Liking the new prospects this brings…
I am enjoying fall this year.

Virtual Coffee

If we were meeting for coffee today, I would be drinking a cinnamon dulce latte and drooling over the pastries in the display but being good and not eating one. We would be sitting over there in the corner in those big overstuffed chairs. I would be sitting with at least one foot tucked up underneath me.

I would tell you I am half excited and half scared to death that I am going to my first blogging conference next Thursday. (Relevant) Even had business cards printed.  I may be jumping in over my head but I won’t know unless I go right?

Neither the puppy or the toddler are making headway in the potty training department.

My laundry keeps taking over my living room because I have no problem going from hamper to washer to dryer to sofa (to be folded) but seem to have major blockage when it comes to getting it from sofa to folded and into drawers. So each mid-week I have an embarrassingly huge mountain of clothes in my living room but they are clean, mind you. Did I tell you we have a very small living room and it is a major thoroughfare in our home?

I would tell you I found a great fabric to make a duvet cover.

I would tell you how happy my heart was to hear my daughter exclaim, “looks like we found a great new place to shop Mom!!” as we drove down the road chattering about all the great new-to-us outlets we found just a short pleasant country drive away.

I would ask you what you have planned for decorating your home for Thanksgiving and what goodies are you planning to cook.

I would tell you of the great revival our church had this week and how God worked in hearts, mine especially. I would tell you how wonderful it is to be free of having an unforgiving spirit. Of victory that finally seems permanent.

I would brag on Refuge, a quartet of brother and sister and their spouses, who sang at our church for the revival at our church. I would tell you how much the brother looks like Todd Smith of Selah and pass you their business card so you could look up their facebook page and see for yourself. I would tell you how they are one of the best groups I have ever heard sing and how the visiting preacher was spot on when he said they had ‘polish’. I would probably tear up as I tell told you how much their songs, written by the brother, spoke to my heart. My face would probably be lit up with excitement as I told how obvious their love for Jesus is.

A big happy smile would take over my face as I told you how nice it is to receive text messages asking how my week is going.

We would sip the last drop in our cups and make plans to meet up again real soon.
